Hi friends! It's time to get your cameras or cell phones out and document all the wonders around Higley Flow. Let's publish all the fun and beauty we see every day. I'm sure you have shots that you'd like to see included. Another idea is to create an album of the critters that we share Higley with: (coyotes, bobcats, bears, porkies, ermines, geese & ducks and many more). If you'd like to share them, just email your pic to higley4us@gmail.com and I'll try to include it. - Thanks, Bob Agel higley4us@gmail.com |
July 9, 2016 - STORM!!!
It was extreme and thankfully over quickly, but a microburst or tornado doesn't need a lot of time to do damage. |
(Thanks to Tim Ward, Kay Hassett & Pat Farns for these pics.) There's Jerry & Sandy Peck's house, but where's their boat and dock? |
Oh, there it is, across the road, in the trees! |
Just tons of damage in a relatively small path. |
Lots of trees down, lots of clean-up, thankfully nobody was hurt. |
That's not good! |

The Island got a bit of a haircut today. |
More damage at Saunders' |
This was some of the damage at Luce's |
Pines are pretty, but not in a big wind. |
Here's one reason you couldn't go home! |
Time to rebuild your fence, I guess. |
Amazing power of the wind. |
Time to call your insurance agent. |
This damage is on Munson Bay. |
Another view of the trees on the Island.
